Another Day at the Dog Park

Helo everyone!

Charis and  I try to go to the dog park close to our home every day. She loves it so much. There is swimming, running, fetching, and playing with other dogs! Here are some pictures of the park!

Darn cute dog tags

Found all of these on Etsy too. Who knew you had so many options for a dog tag! I thought you could only get tags in a pet store. Boy was I wrong!

I want this collar!

So I just bought Charis her dog ID tag and a collar (for about $12) but then I found this one on Etsy for $22!

Aren't they adorable?! Charis would look beautiful stamped in leather.... Maybe a Christmas present for the puppy?

Puppy's name

It only took 4 days to come up for a name for our puppy. We decided on Charis (pronounced Care-iss). It is Greek for grace, goodwill, and loving-kindness. We feel that it fits her well. Plus, she gave me kisses when I called her Charis, so I think she likes it too.

Our new puppy!

Well we finally broke down and got a dog. She is perfect for us! She is about 9 months old, smaller (the vet said 41 lbs, but I don't believe it!), very curious, very affectionate and snuggly, but still protective (thus a good guard dog). We rescued her from Happy Endings Dog Rescue - which I might add is a fantastic organization. I have been very impressed with them and their dogs.

Her name is technically Winnie, but we want to change it to something else. We are thinking something along the lines of an herb/spice (Lavender? Nutmeg?) but she is such a goof - she really needs a carefree name.

Any suggestions?

Home Inspection

So we applied to get a dog from a rescue shelter and the lady is coming by to do a home inspection! I am certain we will pass, but it is very nerve-wrecking none the least.

Our first Sprouts!
