Doggy Play Day

There is a very sweet neighbor doggy named Einstein who is best friends with Charis. She and Charis are always up for playing, chase, and tug of war. Here are some pictures from their latest romp!

New Door Color

It's been a flurry of new changes to the house. The weather has been perfect (70-80) with no bugs, no humidity and sunny days.

The latest change was to get "chipotle paste" Behr paint and freshen up the front door.

New Gate!

So the gate that was here when we moved in was... well... sketchy, to say the least. I think it was left over from an old chain link fence.

I (no Truman!) built a new wooden gate, made a cute little wooden gate from scratch! I added new numbers and little Texas stars even!

It may not be perfect, but it looks much nicer and does the job beautifully!

New Light

Hey guys!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. We've just been exhausted by school, work, and improving the house.

A minor thing we did was change our front porch light. It was an old, funky light from the 50s that finally burnt out. We learned that the bulb it used was impossible to find, so we broke down and bought a little light for $15 from Home Depot.

Easy fix!
